Playing poker with God

When playing poker, it's best to keep your opponents guessing until it is time to sell your cards. Poker players often enjoy misdirecting the opposite players for the strength of their hand with all the intent of manipulating their decisions. Poker is really a trendy game because nobody really knows who props up best cards until the very end when everyone's hand is revealed. When looking at betting on how far better to please God and ourselves, life's choices can seem just like playing poker.
Traditional Christians are betting that believing in Jesus as their Lord and Savior is similar to holding the ultimate wild card that trumps all of the others. For Muslims, believing inside five pillars of Islam can be analogous to holding 5 best cards inside deck. The Hindus' belief in reincarnation could be seen as having an unlimited volume of poker hands and cash to try out until we succeed. Buddhists might see the highest goal as every player at the table holding cards that end up with a balanced draw for all.
It is not hard to determine in utilizing this poker analogy that not many people are playing with the same rules and may even believe anyone not following their rules isn't having fun with the full deck. But then a good question arises, 'Are we playing poker and competing with one another or, am i playing poker with/against God'? That may seem like a bizarre and even inappropriate question however the response is worth exploring.
Most religions agree that God is all-powerful and all-knowing. Playing poker with God clearly eliminates any bluffing strategies. Realizing God can stack the deck in a order He likes however the cards are shuffled and cut means the outcome is assured even before the sport hack zynga poker chips online 2013 begins. It really all relies on what we should believe God's goal was in creating us in the first place.
Many Christians feel God's love for us is conditional and our salvation is merely achieved by choosing the winning wildcard (salvation through Jesus) a moment before we die. Others still feel that we earn our salvation through our choices and deeds done on God's behalf. The Bible lets us know that God is unwilling for virtually any repentant soul to perish, so some place their faith in God's want to stack when of life inside our favor to ensure that all His kids are eventually saved despite having provided us free will. So, just like with poker, there are a lot of bets up for grabs of life but nobody knows a better solution until every one of the cards are revealed so we cash in your chips. But think on this'
If God truly is love, is all-knowing and all-powerful, which is the most wonderful parent we could ever imagine, do we really think there are any cards He is holding that He won't share with us? Do we think He would create even one soul that will not eventually be saved at the time of their choosing rather than irreversibly condemned? Do we believe God is unable or unwilling in order to save all His children but deciding we should have free will? If so, then we have created a false God in your own less-than-perfect image as an alternative to doing all we can easily to make the cut and 'Be ye therefore perfect' as Jesus taught and showed us.
The only sure bet we've got in life is that God has stacked the deck in our favor. We can remain losers as long as we'd like, for all of us have free will, but our separation from Him isn't the will of our own loving Father. The method to actually win is to experience by His rules of unconditional love following the Golden Rule and the perfect role model consideration to us over the life of Jesus. Once we all do, then every day life is not really a game of ups-and-downs, but alternatively an endless example of love and joy in God's abundant universe.
